And also i provisionally got a quilt order from a lovely woman at work, this time I get to make a girlie pink one (all have been boys' ones so far, am desperate for some florals and some dusky pinks). Have a boy one to make for the lovely Spike and one for the lovely Lucas to hand over on Sunday. I do worry as Etsy has so far landed me one order and Folksy although I got an enquiry within 24 hours of listing has so far yielded nothing at all. And I do not need to make enough to keep us all in ice creams this summer!
Found this beautiful poppy near work, had to snap it, am SO impressed with how it came out, in very bright sun, snapped with iphone as camera not in my bag (it normally is always) but just goes to show the unexpected effects are in fact what makes the photo. So i just HAD to post this as my main blog photo. Love poppies anyway... x
